Wrap-Up: June 2019

Wrap-Up Cover to Cover book blog kat snark reading books reader

hello, lovelies!

June is over :( That went by so quickly! I read not a bad number of books this month, and admittedly it was a bit of a lax reading month. Not in quantity necessarily, but in content. It was hard to choose a book that really stuck out to me this month, except for Scythe, which is disappointing. I felt more like I was reading to read and to just pass the time, especially in the beginning, than from any true enjoyment.

Nonetheless, the end of June marks the beginning of July … and the start of the Book Junkie Trials, a month-long reading challenge that I will be participating in! Wish me luck… I’m going to need it. Because for one of the 17 challenges I’m going to try to complete… I will be reading Priory of the Orange Tree. What was I thinking !!?

  • Scythe by Neal Shusterman – it completely blew me out of the water, mostly because it was a complete surprise!
  • I feel that I should note that Love Lessons isn’t featured here only because it’s already been previously featured :)
