hello, lovelies!
It’s crazy that January is almost over!! It’s seemed so short and yet … not so short at all. I’ve had a great month of busy, busy, busyness, and lots of reading. I read 16 books this month, seven of them from new-to-me authors. This is something that I take as a victory of sorts, because out of the 136 books I read in 2018, only 16 of them were by new-to-me authors. And most of them were read in a single month. SO, it’s a personal goal of mine to kick that number up astronomically and discover some amazing new authors out there.
Several things :) I’m so glad that I’m back to blogging!

- LUCIFER – I’m only two episodes into this, but I’m kinda enjoying it :) The man character is Mmm
- THE IRON FIST – I’m half-way through the first season of this, and it’s such a contrasting show! It’s super dark, creepy and scary staying with Marvel themes, and while the main character (“The” Iron Fist) is a charmingly boyish character who can also be an intense badass. Idk, I like it… but I’m still getting used to it.
- CHARMED (original) – This is such fun! I’m in season 4, and I’m very much enjoying it. It’s like combining Full House and Supernatural … ish.
- AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D – I re-started this on a whim and am only halfway through season 1, and it’s a ride!
- LAST MAN STANDING – still my favorite show. I love Tim Allen
First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones (reread) – I love Charley’s sassy humor and biting remarks!!
Can’t love this enough :)

POLL FOR WHAT I SHOULD READ FIRST IN FEBRUARY
How was your month of reading? Did you find any new favorites or hidden gems? Let me know in the comments below, I’d love to hear from you!
I read They Both Die at the End this month, and I thought it was pretty decent, but definitely overhyped. It’s not that I hated it by any means, but I think I should have kept my expectations more in check.

Oh no! That’s disappointing to hear, but I’m really not surprised. Overhyping is something that I’m coming across fairly often :/

Great post!
I haven’t read The Cruel Prince yet, but everyone seems to be liking that series. Hope to start reading it this year. I not too long ago finished reading To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han. Really good! Currently reading Love, Simon.
I love the TV Show Lucifer. I still have to finish the last half of the last season. So happy Netflix picked it up after FOX cancelled it.

Ah Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda is a great book!! I haven’t seen Love, Simon, the adaptation version yet. I’m liking Cruel Prince, with all the anti- characters in it. I didn’t know it was cancelled then picked up!! That must mean it gets better :)
