Top Ten Books I Meant to Read in 2017 But Didn’t

So I’m behind on my TBR — what a shocker!! It’s not like I haven’t been behind for literally my entire life.

This is probably my most shameful year in terms of how much I read … and how much I didn’t read. I’ve always been at a steady 300 + books per year, until this year that is. I’ve been seeing reviews and posts from people about 2018 releases and I’ve been thinking that they’re crazy to be thinking about it this year.

… and then it was Christmas and I’m thinking well shit. I can’t read 40 books in that short of time. Whelp. I need a break. But the new year is here and it’s time for some new wonderful books :) Need to read the old ones first …

  1. I am so that person that buys a few books here and then a few books there. Then I end up reading something I bought way before that last book purchase, lol. I haven’t yet read Turtles All The Way Down, but I definitely plan on reading it over the summer. I am also hoping to read over the summer The Perks of Being A Wallflower and It’s Kind of A Funny Story. I love book adaptations and can’t wait to see if the books hold up to the movie versions. Currently, reading Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng. About half way through, but so far it’s an excellent and interesting read.
