Best Books I’ve Read in 2017

Okay… so these are the ten best books so far… but there are definitely some that are better than others. Eliza and Her Monsters and A Thousand Boy Kisses among the top. I just finished The Wrath and the Dawn today, so I’ll need time to process that amazingness before I delve into just how awesome that awesome was.

    1. ACOWAR was very good πŸ˜€ You really should read it, ASAP πŸ˜‰ But I’m well versed in TBR piles, so I hope you get to it soon! Daughter of the Pirate King was very surprising and I actually really liked it – Alosa was hilariously brassy and I loved her.

    1. OMG, ACOTAR has absolutely NOTHING on ACOMAF, book two. I promise it will be one of the best books you’ve read this year – you’ll definitely have to let me know what you thought when you get to it!!

  1. I loved The Wrath and the Dawn, it was a definite surprise to me because I wasn’t sure how Ahdieh would spin the retelling but I ended up really loving it. Have you read The Rose and the Dagger yet? I just finished it and it was really fantastic; I think I liked it more than the first one. I’ve been wanted to get to The Daughter of the Pirate King because PIRATES! There should be more books about pirates because I need more swashbuckling adventures in my life. πŸ™‚ Awesome list! Happy reading!

    1. Agreed. I pretty much thought the Wrath would be another over-hyped book that I wouldn’t really liked. But I loved it! The Rose was very good as well – just as good of not better than the Wrath.
Daughter of the Pirate King is really fantastic. Alosa is kind of like the Celaena of the seas 😍 She brassy and bold and I love her ❀️ Happy reading to you, as well πŸ™‚
